چکیده

In this study, the stem bark of Artocarpus kemando was used to find alternative antioxidants from natural sources with fewer side effects. A. wasextracted successively using hexane, chloroform and methanol solvents, evaluated for antioxidant, cytotoxic, antiproliferative activities. The extracts were investigated determination their total phenolic content (TPC) flavonoid (TFC). Then, antioxidant activities chemical based assays such as ferric reducing power (FRAP), capacity, radical scavenging 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) 2,2’-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothia zoline-6-sulphonic) (ABTS), β-carotene-linoleic acid (BC) assay, oxygen absorbance capacity (ORAC), cell assay. cytotoxic study done four different lines namely human estrogen receptor positive (ER+) breast cancer line (MCF7), ovarian (CAOV-3), promyelocytic leukemia (HL60), normal immortalised surface epithelial (TI074), microculture tetrazolium salt (MTT) before morphological change on CAOV-3 cell. extract displayed most promising activity compared other when tested DPPH, FRAP, ABTS, TAOC, BC,ORAC, cytoprotective assays. remarkable showed by might be due its high compounds at 855.5 ± 0.01 GAE μg/mL 145.45 0.06 QAE μg/mL, respectively. Antioxidant activity of different extracts of Vitex agnus-castus (L.) and phytochemical profile

The main goal of this study was to evaluate antioxidant activity of Vitex agnus-castus aerial parts and also to investigate the main phytoconstituents in the plant extracts. Nhexane, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate and methanol 80% extract were tested for free radical scavenging activity on model reaction with stable 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical (DPPH). The results showed that ethyl ace...
